WikiFX Employee Exclusive Interview - From “zero” to “hero”

This week, our exclusive interview brings into spotlight a senior member of WikiFX Marketing Division who have joined the company for 6 years and grew with WikiFX App (International Version) from scratch. Sponsored by full scholarship, he graduated from MIT with double degree in Computer Science and Journalism and worked for some of the most prestigious media groups like BBC and Reuters. After returning to China, he chose to join WikiFX.

Meet Owen, Operation Manager of WikiFX Marketing Division.

As a website operator, Owen’s job is essentially making the website more efficient for its customers, and he thinks a great company website takes good user experience as well as effective marketing, maintenance and optimization online.

All these fall into two categories: publicity and maintenance. Owen told me that building on WikiFX’s core strength, the infrastructure, functions and copywriting of WikiFX website are all tailored to user’s particular needs, habits and mindsets. This is certainly no simple task that can be summarized in this article. So far, the columns have been adjusted for 6 times.

With the fundamental framework ready, the website also needs publicity, which is key to successful operation. Effective publicity increases brand awareness among target users, thus maintaining desirable market exposure and search engine ranking. It’s easy to understand if you have ever looked up a Forex broker on WikiFX.

Meanwhile, the WikiFX big data algorism allows the website to optimize the content based on user’s feedback and achieve search engine optimization(SOE). Optimizing the website and positioning of keywords also helps to improve market exposure and users’ experience.

But Owen said the current exposure of WikiFX website is still far from his expectation. In the next 5 years, he plans to go on exploring more creative and effective website operation method to make WikiFX more convenient for global users by providing better information and services.
